Help us to better explain human rights. Take part in the "human rights in the street" competition.

The 10th of December 2008 will be the 60th anniversary of the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the text that gathers together the 30 fundamental rights that everybody should enjoy. But, do you know what these rights are? Do you think that they are really enjoyed by everyone?

To celebrate the 60th anniversary, the Institute of Human Rights of Catalonia will hold a competition of children's stories which illustrate the 30 articles of the Declaration.

By means of your stories, knowledge of human rights can be passed on to more people. Without that knowledge their defence and protection are impossible.

The winning stories will be published in an IHRC book and will be used in the storytelling sessions about the Declaration.
